The Cultura Collection is a series of unique Flags for Puerto Rico, The Dominican Republic, and Cuba (so far) made up of cultural elements/ icons relevant to their people’s shared history and influence from the Spaniards, Africa, and the Tainos (native inhabitants of the islands). Initially, it started as an orgullo (pride) project for just Puerto Rico, and a post on IG. The art from that post was stolen by unscrupulous entities and bootlegged on product without us knowing. This is a way to take the art back, copyright it, and expand on it for the benefit of the other islands in the Caribbean that share some of the same cultural history. #dontstealart Pa’lante.
